Hi, Welcome to Oh boy, It’s a Baby!

My name is Gen and I have created this blog for a few reasons actually…firstly for my sanity, because putting my thoughts into words is a great form of stress relief, secondly because I love reading and also because when I first became a mom I was overwhelmed by the thought of motherhood and so I want to create a place where expecting moms & dads or anyone who enjoys a read, can come to this space, put their feet up with a cup of tea (and of course a little snack) and feel free to comment, chat with other parents and just share experiences!

Above is a picture of my son, my husband and I. We were born in South Africa and we lived there until 8 years ago, when we packed a suitcase each and headed to France. Now, after 8 years we have accumulated much more than one bag each, more like 2 garages full of stuff and of course we added to our family 3 years ago, with a very special little boy. We have lived in a few areas of France and you will be reading more about that in this blog too.

I want to share motherhood, parenting, marriage, relationships and just life in general with you and hope to hear about your experiences too! So, now is the time to grab your cup of tea (or whatever your poison is), and enjoy reading and commenting on the blogs!
